There had been a false sunrise, but now the sun had really arrived...

I have seen over 5,000 sunrises and have hundreds of sunrise photographs. The light cross is often present. Never have I seen the sun so square.

And then the sun let go of the horizon and began to soar, its reflection on the waters...

And then it disappeared behind the cloud bank and it started all over again, another sunrise...
