Step back and look around. Take your time, have a good look. Do you see the unquestionable mess we've thrown the world into? Yes, WE! Can't fight world enemies with ground troops and tanks anymore. That's over with, my friend, finished. We can't bomb them either. Oh, it feels good, and it's fun and everything, but how has it changed Baghdad? Has the guy with the mustache been booted from power yet? Has our "Bomb them to hell" approach extinguished the will or fight in Afghanistan or Iraq?

Don't get pissed-off and miss the point here. This was a wrong move on our part. If you don't agree with me, you will soon. It's too easy to grasp. My take on this is not contained to one small group of older radicals in need of some anti-cause to call home. Hell, even I had a flag on my car, just like the rest of you politically brainwashed assholes in America. However, I never believed it would remain for the run of the show. Those that believe this War has turned into one big political mess, are in no way unpatriotic. What is patriotism, but to be unpatriotic whenever the need calls out for it. Which happens to be patriotism in its purest form.

I don't wish to insult our military, not personally, but it sucks. Try comparing our fighting forces of the past with those of today. "Don't ask, don't tell." Women in the infantry? Boot Camp becoming civilized!!! They have to be a lot nicer to you now. Nicer, while you're learning how to kill, how not to get killed, and how to keep your friends alive as well. This you have to be nice about? If you only have a few weeks to teach regular people lessons of this magnitude, is showing extreme patience and understanding doing them any justice? Is it protecting any Constitutional right but the right to die from complete ignorance? In any War, you don't have that right. That right cannot exist! Anyone that can't handle being sworn at by understandably impatient instructors, will never be capable of holding their own in a line of battle.

Look, the War on Terror is "fixed." Politicians will "take dives" for money, for other politicians, and traditional allies that are undeniably wrong. Telling them they're wrong, openly and honestly, will cost you the next election. Now you tell me, and I'm listening, what do you think their choice will be?

I don't give a damn if "somehow" they squeeze past our impregnable "Homeland Security." If they fill The Grand Canyon up again! The days of rifles, tanks and bombs, used as an answer to any world problem is gone, man. Solid gone.

The world is different now. Our military is different.

So, what happened George? You had everyone behind you and you still couldn't pull it off. I know, I know, for every American casualty in Afghanistan, you'll lose a few votes.

George, you can't fight a War and count votes at the same time. That isn't fair to the soldiers involved, or to the country they're fighting for.

The problem? You shot your mouth off and threatened the world, George. Then you didn't commit enough troops to accomplish any lasting good. Fewer casualties though, keep those votes in your pocket.

War has always been something you did, or you didn't do. Even in Vietnam. Do the right thing now, George. Stop this War.

Think of something else before it becomes too embarrassing to stop. You know, like Vietnam?

Now this would be impressive. You say to the American people, "Nope, this isn't working. We're trying something else now." Being a politician, you'd stun them into voting for you again. Hell, I'd even vote for you then. Plus, and this could be a big plus, you'd be ruining the reputations of bad politicians everywhere.

End the War, George. Find us a new direction, or start looking for another job.
