But what can one "small" person, like I do?
I wrote this a few moments ago, after seeing a documentary on the bombing of Iraq and the dire effect of the children and ordinary citizens of that country. The following thoughts came to mind, which I now share with you.
Most men have an inherant desire for power and accomplishment, but this needs to be channelled properly. Instead of into agression and violence, harness the male desire for achievement and accomplishment and women's capacity for compassion and nurturing together into a magical cocktail which can do absolutely anything. Especially when the fruit of LOVE is added from both sides with a dash of forgiveness. A wonderful mixture of the best traits in God's wonderful creation, the human spirit. Then the world would be a wonderful place - with peace, prosperity and LOVE especially everywhere in abundance.
The power of the human imagination to love others (as oneself) is a gift of God and is a force for GOOD which can accomplish the impossible.
